In the Sacrament of Holy Baptism, we as a community of faith made promises to you. We promised to support you, pray for you, and encourage you in the way of Jesus. Now it is your turn to take up the challenge of discipleship, claim your faith, and take an active role in the life of the church. We will invest time in learning the Bible, What does it mean to be Christian, Who are the Lutherans, What is the role of faith in daily life. You get to ask your questions and share your voice. We will help you find ways to engage with your faith, opportunities to serve and to connect with others and God.
Confirmation is the beginning of your adult journey of faith in relationship with God and your neighbors. You are invited by God’s Spirit to engage in the pilgrimage of Confirmation and inquire more deeply into the Christian faith and life. As you journey on the pilgrimage of Confirmation, you will be asked to continue in the promises made with you in Holy Baptism:
● to live among God’s faithful people,
● to hear the word of God and share in the Lord’s supper,
● to proclaim the good news of God in Christ through word and deed,
● to serve all people, following the example of Jesus,
● and to strive for justice and peace in all the earth
